Laura's design skill and professional demeanor is unparalleled to any other Web Designer I have dealt with in the past.
There are 5 basic roles for users of your WordPress site, though the first two are the most common:
Administrator – somebody who has access to all the administration features within a single site. A user with Admin level access can create new users, run updates, and has direct access to edit the PHP files. For that reason, it is critical that any Admin level user pw is kept extremely strong – a random mix of letters, numbers & characters.
Editor – somebody who can publish and manage posts & pages including the posts of other users. Generally, this is the level of access I set for general content maintenance unless Admin access is specifically requested.
Author – somebody who can publish and manage their own posts.
Contributor – somebody who can write and manage their own posts but cannot publish them.
Subscriber – somebody who can only manage their profile.
